I imagine our Chakras as spinning bundles of energy...all lined up and down our bodies. From the crown of our heads to the base of our spines, these  energies reflect the energies within us and can be affected by internal and external forces which can often mis-balance our energy flow. I imagine a spiral  of energy in a balanced state flowing smoothly up and down our spine. When things are troubling, our rotations of energy can become out of sync or spin  in a different direction. This can manifest as bodily discomfort, pain, or illness. Each chakra has a corresponding location and meaning.
